My name is Ariana and I am a counseling intern and a student working on my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University. I am currently under the supervision of Tony Nguyen (LMFT Lic. #107936).
I take an integrated mindful approach tailored to each of my client’s unique spectrum of needs and together we will examine the interplay of how past history, thoughts, behaviors, and emotions are currently manifesting. I have experience working with: children, adolescents, emotional dysregulation, behavioral issues, family systems, new parents, and Neurodivergent populations; Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Down’s Syndrome, and Dyslexia.
Utilizing a client-centered empathic narrative approach, I invite clients to enlighten me on their unique history, behaviors, emotions & thoughts. I prioritize fostering a therapeutic environment that is comfortable and open to collaboration while we explore emotional, behavioral, and or relationship patterns.
I believe creativity is one of humanity’s greatest gifts and is an integral part of the therapy I provide that explores negative emotions, maladaptive behaviors, subconscious thoughts, and fears. Therapy is intended to help us celebrate our failures by learning from them.
“In all chaos, there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order.” — Carl Jung
