Sima Zandi is a Registered Psychological Assistant training under the supervision of Dr. Tami Stokes (PSY#18374). She applies a humanistic perspective in therapy by using empathy and acceptance to help individuals fulfill their potential and maximize their well-being. She has been trained using a variety of therapeutic approaches including psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, and humanistic. Sima has experience working with individuals living with Autism and Schizophrenia spectrum illnesses and is passionate about supporting those living with severe mental illness. Her goals are to provide support and guidance to a diverse range of clients and continue serving those living with severe mental illness.
Sima is proud to be biracial (Chinese/Persian) and raised by immigrant parents. She is interested in multicultural psychology and enjoys working with diverse populations on a variety of sociocultural and mental health issues. Additionally, she is experienced in expressive arts therapy and enjoys incorporating creativity into the therapeutic process.
