I’m a Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (#130803) under supervision of Maryanne Duan (LMFT Lic. #94176). I work with adults who have ongoing challenges that can include depression, anxiety and much more. My goal is to help you get back to living life on your terms. My own growth through personal life struggles is what helps me relate so deeply with clients. I know what it’s like to struggle with depression, anxiety, grief and other difficult experiences. Like everyone else, I’m human. I’ve been through both wonderful and difficult experiences that have shaped who I am and how I help people in therapy.
Being a therapist is rewarding. I love guiding people towards positive changes and watching them transform their lives. The most rewarding thing about being a therapist is seeing a person walk away lighter, more free, and excited about their life.
I am committed to helping you get back to living life. I have empathy for others and bring an open, non-judgemental presence to sessions.
Our Sessions Are Focused On You
Sessions will provide you with the space to be understood and heard. In feeling safe and comfortable, you’ll be able to gain clarity.
It’s important to me to provide a non-judgemental space where you can be yourself and ensure that the process is collaborative. There isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to therapy. Our sessions will fit your specific needs and concerns.
As a therapist, I Embrace The Following Philosophies
- I believe that we only heal if we take care of ourselves
- I believe that therapy works when both of us are committed to your healing
- I believe that we can do hard things like going to therapy and we can do them and live better for it
- I believe that the biggest thing standing in your way is the fear that life always has to be the way that it is now
